Warm Winter Drive | w/ Usama Malik |December 13th, 2020
Brother Usama Malik started this project 5 years ago by collecting money through social media for blankets for the homeless. Year by year, more people donated and more people helped Usama distribute blankets. This year the help of Salaam Foundation, two more organizations have joined the effort to add even more supplies and donations to this amazing project!

meals and masks | masjid al quran | november 15th, 2020
Masjid Al-Quran is a mosque in South Dallas that has a large underserved community nearby. With the support of local businesses and organizations, and private donors, we will be able to distribute masks, sanitizers, socks, backpacks (for kids), and a variety of meals to 300 people in the community as a whole.

School supply drive | an-nisa resource center | aug 18 - sept 1, 2020
With the recent Covid-19 pandemic shutting down all in-person gatherings, low-income students were stranded without a way to keep up in their studies. Students from Kindergarten all the way to 12th grade needed help to catch up and prepare for the next year of learning, and to have resources to participate in virtual learning as a part of the An-Nisa Tutoring academy or through their local school.

Salaam Ramadan | Salaam Foundation | April 23 - May 23, 2020
Salaam Ramadan is a 30-day social media campaign dedicated to exposing local Texas organizations working to address the diverse communities affected by Covid-19. This Ramadan, we may not be able to attend nightly prayers at the mosque or enjoy iftaars with friends and family, but we can still give back to those most deserving of our generosity this holy month.
